If you are purchasing on behalf of an agent that has its own agreement with Lustrabaatane AS, the existing agreement will take precedence over the terms below.
Booking
To guarantee a seat, the journey should be booked well in advance of departure. Seats can be booked at lustrabaatane.no, at the quay before departure, or through partner agents.
When booking at lustrabaatane.no, the travel documents will be sent by email. When purchasing tickets through other sales outlets, the sales outlet is responsible for providing the necessary travel documents.
Please note: On departures where children under 4 travel free of charge, a seat reservation must also be made for them.
Payment
You can pay by card when booking at lustrabaatane.no .
When purchasing tickets at the quay, you can pay by card, Vipps, or cash (we only accept NOK). When purchasing tickets through partner agents, you can pay by card.
Check-in / Meeting time
You are responsible for bringing all travel documents and checking that the tickets match your booking. Valid travel documents must be shown when boarding, either on paper or as a ticket on a mobile phone/tablet.
The QR code must be visible for scanning. Remember to bring valid identification when purchasing discounted tickets.
If Lustrabaatane has to cancel a departure, you will be offered the option of changing the reservation to another departure, or a refund of the amount you paid for the trip.
Delay and cancellation
If Lustrabaatane has to cancel a trip, you will be offered to change your reservation to another departure, or a refund of what you have paid for the trip.
Lustrabaatane may also cancel the journey if unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, labour disputes, or similar events, make it difficult or inadvisable to carry out the journey (force majeure). The customer is not entitled to a refund if the interruption is due to force majeure. In such cases, Lustrabaatane will do its best to change your reservation to another departure or provide advice on alternative solutions.
Lustrabaatane or the sales outlet will inform you if any significant changes arise affecting your booking.
Change/cancellation of trips
Tickets purchased on Lustrabaatane.no :
Up to 48 hours before the departure time, the traveller may cancel the booking themselves via My Page. A link to My Page is included in the email with our booking confirmation. The money will automatically be refunded to your account.

If cancellation takes place up to two days before the departure date, all paid tickets will be refunded in full. No refund is given for cancellations after this deadline.
Travelers with special needs
Our boats are classic fjord vessels with limited accessibility for wheelchairs and prams/strollers. We ask passengers with special needs to contact us at post@lustrabaatane.no to clarify this in more detail, and we will do our best to assist.
Complaint
If you experience deficiencies with the journey and/or services provided by Lustrabaatane, you must notify us as soon as possible.
Any complaint or claim for compensation must be submitted in writing by letter or email no later than two months after the journey. A copy of the ticket and any other relevant documentation must be attached.
